Key Takeaways
- Bitcoin ETFs drew $175.99M on Tuesday, lifting week-to-date inflows above $286M.
- Blackrock and Fidelity led buying as ether and solana remained under pressure.
- A third positive bitcoin session would signal that institutional demand is rebuilding.
Blackrock, Fidelity Drive Bitcoin ETF Streak
Bitcoin’s institutional bid strengthened Tuesday, and this time the buying widened beyond Blackrock.
Spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) drew $175.99 million after Monday’s $110.34 million inflow. Blackrock’s IBIT remained the dominant destination with $151.46 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC added $24.54 million.
No bitcoin fund recorded an outflow, as trading value reached $1.58 billion, with net assets rising to $103.94 billion.
The shift in breadth is important. Monday’s entire inflow came through IBIT. Tuesday added a second major buyer in Fidelity, suggesting demand is becoming less dependent on a single product.
That gives bitcoin a firmer start to the week after last week’s volatile but positive finish.

Ether’s Weakness Remains Persistent
Ether ETFs lost another $60.22 million.
Blackrock’s ETHA shed $93.28 million, extending a pattern that has made it the main source of ether ETF redemptions in recent weeks. Fidelity’s FETH attracted $28.58 million, while Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust added $4.48 million.
Trading activity totaled $392.33 million, with net assets closing at $14.18 billion. The internal rotation is worth watching. Capital is still entering selected ether products, but withdrawals from ETHA continue to overwhelm those inflows.
Across Monday and Tuesday, ether ETFs have now lost roughly $149 million, while bitcoin funds have gained more than $286 million over the same period. That divergence remains one of the clearest signals in the current crypto ETF market.
Solana Weakens as Zcash Keeps Building
Solana ETFs suffered a larger $19.16 million outflow, entirely from Grayscale’s GSOL.
The decline follows Monday’s $8.23 million withdrawal and pushes two-day losses above $27 million. Trading value fell to $38.71 million, while net assets closed at $1.54 billion. That combination of lower activity and continued redemptions suggests enthusiasm for higher-beta exposure remains weak.
NEAR also lost momentum. Bitwise’s NRR recorded a $4.84 million outflow after attracting capital Monday.
Zcash moved in the opposite direction.
Grayscale’s ZCSH brought in another $3.45 million, extending its inflow streak to six consecutive sessions. Net assets rose to $754.87 million.
XRP and HYPE ETFs recorded no net flows.
ETF Flows May Confirm Moves More Than Predict Them
Research shared by DWF Labs adds useful context to the recent bitcoin ETF surge.
Its analysis found that daily ETF flows showed a much stronger relationship with bitcoin’s performance in the preceding five days than with returns in the days that followed.
According to DWF Labs, the correlation between ETF flows and the next five days of bitcoin returns was just 0.03.

That suggests large inflow days often arrive after the market has already moved, making ETF activity a stronger gauge of institutional participation than a reliable forecasting tool.
For this week, that distinction matters. Bitcoin ETF demand is improving and spreading across issuers, while ether and solana remain under pressure.
The next signal will come from persistence. A third strong bitcoin session would strengthen the case that institutional allocation is rebuilding. Another sharp reversal would reinforce the highly tactical flow pattern that has defined October.
